Statue Joker - Batman Animated Series - Art Scale 1/10 - Iron Studios
Holding one of the razor-sharp playing cards between the fingers of his right hand, with the representation of the suit that originated his name, the Clown Prince of Crime, with his wide smile and dark eyes with the yellow sclera, presents himself on a technological pedestal leaning on his left leg. He rests on a mysterious “Jack-in-the-box,” an old toy shaped like a box with a crank, which, when turned, plays a melody and reveals a surprise figure in the end, in this case, almost always lethal. Wearing his classic purple tailcoat with an orange shirt and green bowtie, and with his inseparable Acid Flower stick to his lapel, Iron Studios presents the statue “Joker - Batman The Animated Series - Art Scale 1/10”, showcasing the stylized classic version created by illustrator, animator, and writer Bruce Timm, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Dark Knight’s iconic animated series from 1992, which gave rise to what is now known as the DC Animated Universe.
Known for his sadism, acid sense of humor, and unpredictability, the enigmatic figure who became the Joker was originally a criminal working for the Sal Valestra mafia. He was responsible for the death of businessman Carl Beaumont, father of Andrea Beaumont, one of Bruce Wayne’s early romantic interests. In Gotham City, he formed his own gang, and during an attempt to rob the Ace Chemical Processing Plant, he fell from a catwalk into a tank of chemical waste while facing Batman. As he was dragged into a river, the chemicals had an adverse effect, permanently dyeing his hair green and his skin completely white. This transformation drove him mad and altered his life forever. Emerging as the Joker, he became one of Gotham’s most dangerous and intelligent psycho villains, and Batman’s greatest adversary.
Portrayed by the legendary actor Mark Hamill, this classic version of the Joker now receives a statue by Iron Studios, alongside his companion and girlfriend Harley Quinn. This marks the beginning of a new collection celebrating three decades of the animated series, regarded by many as the best adaptation of the Dark Knight in other media. Developed by Bruce Timm and Paul Dini and produced by Warner Bros. Animation between 1992 and 1995, Batman: The Animated Series is acclaimed for its noir aesthetics and thematic complexity, winning four Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Animated Program. The pedestals of Harley Quinn and Joker’s statues connect, creating a diorama set with both figures surrounded by explosive tubes connected through cables, with the Blasting Machine detonator at the Maid of Mischief’s side. Revealed during the Inside Iron Studios Day, more news from Batman’s animated universe by Iron Studios will be coming soon.
